Great food, great people, excellent service. Great pizza spot in Delray Beach, they also have an excellent chicken caesar salad. I don't recommend going to pick up your food if you ordered a salad... you'll regret that choice in an instant when you walk in & smell the pizza!

Yummmmmmmmmmmmmm! Glad to have found this place given if you went a little further west on Atlantic avenue it was nearly impossible to find a restaurant under an hour wait. We were happy to do casual as long as it was simple. Tons of selection when it comes to individual slices of pizza, the wall had an abundant amount of other things that'll be made fresh upon order. Got an Italian hero and a grilled chicken seasonal salad ... literally one of the best salads I've ever had, still thinking about it the following day. If it was closer we'd have to frequent this place way often. Lost of star due to the gentleman behind the counter with the cranky face, felt like he was doing us a favor with tons of attitude and sass, tried to make small talk with him but I couldn't put a smile on his face ... come for the food, ignore the rest!

For a splendid slice and other delicious item's along Downtown Delray's Atlantic Avenue, I consider Sazio Express to be a hidden gem! An offshoot of Sazio, the original full service version of this establishment that is located closer to Old School Square, Sazio Express has a smaller menu of pizzas, heroes, and salads and thanks to its close proximity to the beach, is aimed at beachgoers looking for a quick bite. Although I have passed Sazio Express many times walking along The Avenue, I had not stopped in until recently and it has become a hit after going a few times, thanks to their superb slices and other items, fabulous service, and of course, a prime location. I first stopped in at Sazio Express after me, my Mother, and our dear family friend were taking a walk. We first came here as my friend was severely hungry and we wanted him to have a bite, so the siren song and tantalizing smell of Sazio Express's pizza called his name. Needless to say, their splendid slices and fabulous folks won us over and we have been there a few times since, including yesterday. As I had mentioned earlier, Sazio Express is a small establishment, basically being a hole in the wall with the pizza counter on the left side entering from the street, a few tables in the center, and a counter with a few stools on the right side of the establishment. What also stands out is that they usually play Classic Rock, which makes me love this place even more as I am a rock and roller! While the menu here is smaller than their sibling, what they do have is fantastic! As I had mentioned, their Regular Slice at $4.00 to be excellent and massive in size. It was so good, our family friend swore by it! When I tasted it, it was not hard to see why. Although I do not eat the crust due to egg and wheat allergies I have had since I was a kid, I found the cheese to be savory, a touch salty, and perfect in texture and the sauce to be balanced with sweet and savory notes along with a pleasant bite from the spices used. My friend who does not have allergies said the crust was perfectly cooked and could rival slices found in New York! Another favorite was their White Spinach Slice, which had the same mozzarella found on the regular slice along with salty, a touch sweet, and creamy ricotta along with leafy fresh spinach. One positive attribute I have noticed is that they use fresh vegetables, while other parlors I have been to use frozen or canned. Another surprise here was the Gorgonzola Salad at $12.99, which me and my friend split thanks to being a gargantuan portion. It had fresh and leafy mixed greens, salty and nutty gorgonzola cheese, sweet and savory tomatoes, cool and crisp cucumbers, robust and sweet roasted red peppers, and a sweet, tangy, and slightly acidic balsamic vinaigrette that added to it! If that is not enough, the folks who work here are wonderful, especially Patrick and Carol, who are warm, welcoming, and always go the extra mile to take care of us! In addition, the first time we went here back in December , our family friend left his cellphone here by accident and the staff here demonstrated impeccable integrity as when I had called to let them know, Patrick was already aware and had the phone waiting at the counter. If the superb slice wasn't enough, these kind actions solidified Sazio Express as an amazing place! For a superlative slice and other goodies, friendly folks, and a great value and location, Sazio Express is a hidden gem in Downtown Delray!

Had two slices here during one meal. The white pizza was excellent and both of these slices were easily foldable. They were NY style, just bigger sized slices for about 4 bucks each.

I had an Uber ride that brought me to Delray so I busted out the One Bite app and found this place and stopped in for a slice. Cool little spot in Delray on Atlantic. Nice selection of slices. I just got a cheese one today. Could have used a little more cheese but overall great slice, solid undercarriage and crust.

Great slices, cold beer, clean and bright inside. Veggie slice was great and sitting on outside high top was fun. Will be back for sure.

Went there for salads. I got the Tropical Breeze and and my wife got the seasonal salad. They were fantastic. Very big and filling. The dressing was perfect. The guy even recommended not changing the dressing because it did not compliment the fruits in the salad. It was spot on. Then we also shared the turkey avocado wrap. It was tasty as well. The next day It we came back and got a slice of pizza. Very good New York style slice. I will be coming back to this place next time we vacation here.

Quick food, with good quality and good services. Conveniently located in the Ave, and they have a traditional "sit down restaurant" too.

Best pizza in Del Ray - excellent pepperoni pie and Boars Head Cold cut hero's. Downtown Sazio Restaurant is good for Zuppa de Clams Fra davilo, chicken parm hero's, fried Rice balls with peas and ground meat.

Excellent thin crust pizza. Family friendly. Alcohol sold here too Open late. And you get to see the slices to choose from.
